Our city during the weekend of May 1st fills up with
a of waterfall of flowers and thousands of perfumes
thanks to the colored show market of plants and flowers
along the pedestrians streets of the center.
During all summer there are different weekly appointments
as the"mercatino dell'antiquariato" in via
Pascoli, the evening of American Latin and of groupdances
in Piazza Mercato, the evening of the folcloristic
dances always in Piazza Mercato, the exposition and
market of our craftsmanship and of the artists in
via Matteotti. Last but not least are certainly the
dancing fountains of Piazza 1 Maggio!
Other fixed appointments are the "rustida"
, artifice fires on July 14th for the national day
of the French, on August 15th, begin of September
for remembering the "Madonna del Mare" and
the grape party always in September. Many other concerts
and varied shows get organized during all summer.
SALUDECIO (begin of August)
Eight Hundred Festival
In the suggestive suburb of Saludecio, "Ottocentofestival",
a tested "timemachine" able of make you
relive environments, sounds, customs and characters
of a gone to us near. This year it will be reproposed
renewed in the contents and in the expressive model.
To the visitors an amusing and meddler dive into daily
life of their great-grandfathers is guaranteed.
SAN GIOVANNI IN MARIGNANO (end of June)
The night of the Witches
Around the night of S. Giovanni have been consolidated
traditions and rites during the centuries. They always
believed this is a magic night as it falls in the
days of solstice, when, according to an ancient legend,
the sun gets married with the moon and from this wedding
beneficent energies flow on earth. Generally the night
of S. Giovanni is retained also the Night of the Witches
that, in this particular astral moment, gethered for
exercising their sorceries. In the demonstration,
with shows, revivals and markets, this magic world
of popular belief relives.
SANTARCANGELO ( July)
Santarcangelo of the theaters
This festival supports the contemporary theater promoting
the young and able artists, that feel the wrist of
time and of his changing languages.
GRADARA
Seduction in the Castle
In summer in Gradara the middle eve is recalled on
each Thursday of July and August. When the night comes,
fire torches and candles light up and the atmosphere
becomes romantic: the castle opens his doors and the
magic of "Seduction.... in the Castle" will
overflow you ! Trough dances and shows, an event dedicated
to love and seduction.....the story of Paolo and Francesca,
who really lived here.
MONTEFIORE
Fortress of Moon
In the suggestive frame of Montefiore and of his Malatestiana
Fortress, an initiative that celebrates the full moon
of July with shows, concerts, immages, gastronomy,
ethnic markets, scenes.
VERUCCHIO
Verucchiofestival
Cycle devoted to the "new music", to those
new, creative, not commercial waves on the international
scene of music.
MONDAINO (middle August)
Palio of the fallow deer
The fastis from the medieval suburb of Mondaino of
the 1500 are recalled. Historical processions, challenges
between the clans of the city, minstrels, jugglers,
, swordsmen, fakirs, merchants, wizard and actors
animate the streets and the taverns, while in the
splendid circular plaza spectacular shows are proposed.
